These sandals, made in Italy and originally designed for Carthusian monks, are real walking shoes. Paraboot is a 4th-generation business founded in France by Rémy Richard. The name is a mashup of “Para” (the port they sourced their latex from) and the American “boot” that inspired Rémy early on.
